The Heart Behind Mapleheart

A lot of work goes into a construction project before anyone sets foot on site.

Between reviewing drawings, preparing estimates, finding subcontractors, collecting quotations, and meeting tender deadlines, there's a lot to coordinate. And for many general contractors, that work falls on the same people who are already busy running projects and managing their businesses.

Throughout my career in procurement, contract administration, and business operations, I've worked with contractors, suppliers, and service providers on everything from competitive tendering to purchasing and contract management. I have also been on the receiving end of bid submissions and have seen common errors made by General Contractors.

I've seen how quickly things can become complicated when deadlines are tight, information is missing, or there simply aren't enough hours in the day. I've also seen how much of a difference good planning, clear communication, and well-managed procurement can make.

That's what led me to start Mapleheart & Co.

With a degree in Business Management and years of experience in procurement and contract administration, I wanted to offer contractors another option when they need extra support but aren't looking to hire additional staff.

Today, Mapleheart focuses on three areas: construction takeoffs and estimating, subcontractor tendering and bid support, and post-award procurement.

My goal is to build a dependable network of estimating professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers while helping general contractors manage the work that happens before and after a project is awarded.
